The Bulletin is a dynamic, student-powered news platform developed under the JKUAT Campus Bulletin initiative. It serves as a centralized hub for campus-related news, announcements, events, and updates, all curated and managed by students for the benefit of the entire Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) community.
Launched as part of an academic project rooted in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles, TheBulletin is designed to be intuitive, accessible, and responsive across all devices. Our goal is to create a reliable and interactive information space where students, faculty, and staff can stay informed, express ideas, and engage with campus happenings in real time.
Whether it's the latest university announcements, upcoming events, academic highlights, or student-led initiatives, TheBulletin is committed to delivering accurate and timely content with a fresh, youthful perspective. We aim to bridge the gap between university administration and students by promoting transparent communication and inclusive storytelling.
The platform also features an innovative Visual Log Panel, allowing users to track their recently viewed bulletins and navigate content with ease. This enhances user experience and fosters a more personalized interaction with the site.
At its core, TheBulletin empowers student voices, celebrates campus diversity, and fosters a sense of belonging through informed engagement. It is not just a news website—it is a growing digital community shaping the future of student journalism at JKUAT.
